Using chest layout and CAD software we can layout pipes and design the chest for you or alternatively we manufacture to your design.
Our standard slider chests are made with Baltic Birch plywood grids with a 3/8” thick solid wood skin of Hard Maple for a clean look. The table and pallet sides are made of Baltic, which makes for a rigid and stable chest construction. For stability, toeboards are laminated boards of kiln dried poplar. Rackboards are made of Baltic Birch plywood.
Offset and Unit windchests are made with the same method, as are the slider chests we manufacture. Our design of electro-pneumatic unit actions and direct pallet magnets can be supplied fitted or unfitted. Single note electro-pneumatic units actions are available to purchase.
All chests can be supplied to your needs from the unfinished shell to completely finished, including racking of 8’, 16’, and 32’ stops.
Most of our chestwork is done on our CNC router to ensure accuracy in every part. Using a CNC gives us the ability to offer our customers rackboard holes cut to close tolerances with the aid of a try rack which has been manufactured on the CNC to plus or minus 0.005”. This makes for a reduction in the time needed for racking pipes at your facility.
The try rack and a set of four reamers are available for purchase.
